Hi Jean.... Hope you and John are doing OK these days, with your cooler weather. Re ..Reunion ... Karen and Mark also had a bad journey, travelling UP to the Reunion ... hitting the same troublspot in Oxford. Having heard through a message from Pat whilst we were eating our Sunday meal, that the same area was just as bad, Howie found a route to avoid it for Karen, we still hit some problems; then just before we reached the area when Karen was to drop my Linda and I off to Dave who was waiting to pick us up, we found out that their route on the M25 was also closed between some of the junctions. Big thanks also go to Karen for picking us up on Saturday and taking us to Bourton-on-the-Water. Remember the Ozzie song 'the Pub with no Beer'.. well our Pub for our Sunday meal had no Lemonade or Coke. The meals that were ordered by the Trivvies were Good, plus there were also 3 large bowls of Chips [the UK type ] and 3 bowls of mixed Salad, and we went through quite a few jugs of water. Most of us found room for some decadent desserts, then it was time for hugs and goodbyes, until a future time in 2007 ... ??? Hi Marlene... thanks for your report on the reunion.............I'd forgotten that Karen and Mark would encounter the same traffic problems, travelling from the south east. What a nightmare journey.Glad everyone had such a good time once at the venue.....and I wasn't bored, Karen. You asked after John and I must say that his condition has improved over the past couple of months, now that he has accepted it. Unfortunately he has developed cataracts in both eyes so is unable to read much at the moment and that has always been his greatest enjoyment. He sees a specialist on Monday, so we will hear what he has to say. Many hugs Jean Oz
