[10yrs old ] Gen-Trivia was first going at least in 1996, but seemed to have got lost until Dec 1998 ... when it picked up with 840 messages ... some of the Trivvies on there were our Sue and Di believe Lizzie was at that time also. The first five months of 1999 was a nicely quiet Trivia site !! total for that section was under 2,000 June's e-mails would have taken it to about that limit, [upto June 28th approx were 290]. The List suddenly got very popular, with people wanting to put meat onto their ancestors bones. With many new members the e-mails for July reached over 4400. and over the next few years often exceeded 6000, in our enthusiasm, we nearly killed the List, now we seem to have gone completely the other way with a lack of mail, RE:- TRIVVIE DAY .. someone ...think it was Pommie Pete said we needed our OWN SPECIAL DAY and it seemed to be fitting to have it on the Longest Day of the Year, think that dates back to 2002 ..... nobody decided against it.
