I met up with Di today and it was one of the best days I've had for a long time. For all the fans of Keeping Up Appearances I have to tell you that Hyacinth Bucket is alive and well and living in Stratford. It was great to meet Di and her sister Pam & long suffering husband Dave (only kidding) they were all lovely and friendly and made me feel very welcome. Dave & Pam were very funny when telling me about the things that Pam does when she's in Hyacinth mode. While on holiday if things aren't as they should be, her favourite words are "we're not staying here" The things Dave told us had me nearly wetting my knickers with laughter. We went out for a Chinese meal and Hyacinth(I mean Pam) had to ask for someone who could speak English so she could understand what we wanted to order It was raining when I got up this morning, it rained all day while I was there. On the way home Mick phoned to tell me to be careful on the roads as they'd had snow here and on the Clee Hills there was several inches and the school buses had got stuck. It wasn't a very pleasant journey home with lots of spray and heavy rain but I did make it home safely. Wolfie
