A Portuguese light Wine without brandy, is a White Wine made from Rhine Vines transplanted into Portugal. Possesses more character and fullness than other light wines, largely consumed in Portugal, does not deteriorate when uncorked, makes an agreeable and wholesome summer drink, combines particularly well with all aérated waters, and makes a delicious cup without addition of liqueurs. maintains its character in all climates, and is a cheap wine.
