Geo. <I think the cough would be preferable to the cure.> Carlisle Patriot Friday, December 8th, 1899 A Cure for Stubborn Coughs The medical profession report particularly good results from the use of Angier's Petroleum Emulsion in relieving stubborn coughs. It not only stops the cough and heals the soreness and inflammation of throat and lungs, but it assists stomach and bowel action as well and greatly improves the general health. It is equally good for the cough of chronic bronchitis with profuse expectoration, the dry harsh throat cough, the persistent irritating cough of influenza, and for whooping cough and croupy coughs of children. It is pleasant to take and agrees with the most delicate stomach. At all chemists and drug stores. Caution The medical value of petroleum depends upon the way in which it has been purified from the crude oil. If, there you buy cheap imitations made with ordinary petroleum you are certain to be disappointed. You should ask for Angier's Emulsion and be sure you get it.
