Likewise for the name Basilius, which in Rusyn is Vasyl' -- a name not carried by Slovaks. Slovaks, in contrast, would be named "Bazil". Dymytrij and Vasyl' are also Ukrainian (actually Dmytro in Ukrainian) and other Eastern Christian Slav names, but even Greek Catholic/Orthodox Slovaks do not have them. Rich Custer
