Hi gen-slav group, Recently just received my g.mthr's declaration of intention. She was age 52 when she applied for citizenship, had been in the US for nearly 40 years. Per my mother she could not read nor write much. The form is typewritten and shows her maiden name to have been CZECHOSZ from Strachocin Nowy Poland. However, all of her other records show her name to be CIKACZ, including photographs of the CIKACZ headstone of her mother in Strachocin Nowy Poland. Is it most likely that the clerk fowled this up, or is this a lead that needs to be pursued? Any thoughts or advice welcome. Thanks -- Kathy CINQUEMANI Parker fonzie@gte.net GENEALOGICAL SEARCH FOR: SICILIAN:CINQUEMANI,PASSALACQUA,FRISCO,TARALLO POLISH:STOLARCZYK(SKI or SKY),CIKACZ,RACHUBA,SUCHADOLSKA IRISH/ENGLISH:PARKS,GREEN,CRUTCHER,MERRELL,DACAS
