Hello everybody, (I'm new to this list) I'm searching information about my great grand mother's family (BERDNIKOV) and would also like to know what looks like nowdays the village where they lived (Belyshevo, near Vetluga, North from Nizhni Novgorod, Russia). If one of you have any idea please contact me; see also the information (that includes a small area of rather precise local maps from 1820 to 1940) I've collected so far at http://perso.club-internet.fr/montardi/berdnikov/berdnikov.html (if you're interested by other parts of these maps (Kostroma, Nijni Novgorod areas) or others (Perm, Saratov areas) and don't know where else to find them, I could perhaps help you) (Searching the web, I found some other Berdnikovs, but till now none of them seems to know anything about my family; On the Russian web I found very few things about Vetluga (too small a town) and none about Belyshevo; I'm in contact with a Russian genealogist and we could find something in the future if we had more data).
