Rai, and all other Gen-Slavic researchers, If your family was Jewish, there is an extensive effort to computerize LDS records from Poland during the Russian years. It is called Russian Era In Poland Project (REIPP), and the information is available as an online search at http://www.jewishgen.org/reipp/index.html I searched for your BORAWSKI, but all I found was a marriage, 1839, of Moszko POROWSKI, son of Joszko, who married Chajka (Surname not shown), daughter of Dawid. (The REIPP records use Soundex, so POROWSKI showed up for this search.)
