You would have had to refer to the film numbers showing the lists even if you had needed to use the indexes first, but, lucky for you, that step has been eliminated. The only hurdle you still have is the fact that the Hamburg passsenger lists are divided into "Direct" and "Indirect". Either way, the films show the lists in chronological order, and since you have the date, you're right, it should be a snap.
