Elaine is correct - most of the genealogy lists are not moderated, including Gen-Slavic. All lists do get the occasional spam, as do individuals. For those who are new to mailing lists, the conventional advice is, ignore! Toss out the junk mail, and above all, do not respond to the perpetrator.
