    3. I cannot help you but, that is a very nice site you have. It is impressive that you are looking for a relative from the early 1400's. Since he was a bishop, there should be several government, church, and civil documents about him. However most of documents are still handwritten, manuscripts, usually "hidden" in the shelves of public libraries. So you have to search, search, and search in every place where your anchestor has lived. In Dujam case I should go in Croatia and in Hungary. But I do not speak those languages, and not all documents are in Latin. I have a couple of bibliographic references about Dujam, but I cannot read them: - HUNGARIAN LANGUAGE BORSA, Ivan e MALYUSZ, Elemer "Zsigmondkori Okleveltar" Volume V - (1415-1416) Akademiai Kiado, Budapest, 1997 - CROATIAN LANGUAGE NOVAK, G. "Povijest Splita" 1. Spalato 1957 OSTOJIC, I. "Metropolitanskji kaptol u Splitu" Zagabria 1975 I also know that the mother of Dujam is buries in the Split's Cathedral. Just outside, the second on the left on North side. The epigraph is + HIC NOBILLS FRANCI ACETPIISSIMA MATER DOIMI QUIERAT PRESUL VENERANDUS IN URBE AD MCCCCXI .... IX · DIE · XX · V · Λ DLIS I would like to have a picture of it. I hope, soon or later, to find someone in Split with a digital camera and a Internet connection... ;-) Dario de Judicibus http://www.dejudicibus.it/genealogia/ P.S. If you look at Ventimiglia's branch you'll see that I have ancestors up to 954 a.C. :)
