    3. Greetings, I am trying to trace my wife's family. Her maternal great grandmother was France Ryngwalska (1871-1928), daughter of Adam Ryngwalski (dates not established). She emigrated to Buffalo, New York (along with her father?), in 1883. I have some questions that I hope can be answered by someone on this list: 1) Is anyone familiar with this name? Is it common to one or two areas in Poland (hoping to narrow down the areas to search)? If so, which ones? 2) Is the ski/ska suffixes correct in the names above (ska for women, ski for men)? Does the form of the name indicate anything about the background of the family (nobility, peasant farmers, etc.)? The men in the family were laborers and factory workers in the US. Does the name provide any clue to their life in Poland? Any help you can provide is appreciated.
