    3. I am researching my grandmother ancestors, her baptismal can be seen at http://www.2computerguys.com/lineage/baptismal.html I found her Antonia, age 4y, in a 1908 passenger list with mother Katalin Blaskow and some siblings. Katalin's father was Janos Folrich. I have not been able to find Joannes Blaschkow, which in a 1936 New Haven, CT newspaper article about him, it states he was a a Captain in the Austrian Guards and served directly under Emperor Franz Josef. He was in the Turkish-Prussian war and after retirement from the army, he went into the wrought iron business in Vienna. He came to America in 1904, after becoming troubled with rheumatism in 1897. The baptismal shows my grandmother Antonia being born in Szentgyorgy, Pozsony, Hungary (today's Svaty Jur, Bratislava County, Slovakia). The passenger lists shows Katalin Blaskow coming from the same place. However, my great grandfather Joannes Blasckow, was in the Austrian Guard, worked in Vienna, too far for daily travel from Szentgyorgy/Svaty Jur. In the 1936 article mentions he was 75, thus making him born about 1861, where I have no idea. I do not know if my grandmother although born in Hungary, is German, Austrian or Hungarian. I naturally wish to locate ancestors or descendants of Blaschkow and Folrich. -- Regards, D.R.
