Hello. My question is "Does anyone know polish people named Paryski ?" Antoni Paryski is officially born in 1865 in Bakow, Lowicz, Poland. He became famous in USA with his company publishing Ameryka Echo among other polish newspapers. But we're almost sur it's not its real name. Apart from his direct descendants, we cannot find any trace of a Paryski. The two exceptions are Stephan, born in 1893, maybe from the first wedding of Antoni, and Witold Henryk, the famous alpinist. But they are both born in USA... Thanks for any help about this. Stef Paryski from Belgium.

I see several messages on this list related to surnames. Is this list limited to surnames, or may I request translation help? I am beginning my wife's family history. There is a strong Polish strain in her family, and there are several tombstones, prayer cards, etc. in Polish the surviving generations are unable to read. Might there be some Polish experts in this group who would be willing to assist us, if we don't over tax their generosity? Many thanks for whatever assistance you can render.
