    3. The Czech Info Center leaves perhaps a dozen message every few weeks at alt.genealogy, all without individual email addresses. Therefore I would suspect that replying directly to the email used in the message from the Czech Info Center would be sufficient enough to reach the individual. 3. I don't believe this is a working address: Czech Info Center <noreply@muselik.com> (Czech Info Center) I'd love to hear differently. I did, in fact, respond to one post and never heard anything which I why I am suggesting there is a possibility the posters *at* the website are not aware of the posts to this group. Elaine There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line. --Oscar Levant Hello Robert On Monday, September 22, 2003, you wrote > The Czech Info Center leaves perhaps a dozen message every few weeks at > alt.genealogy, all without individual email addresses. 3. I went to the site simply because you have an image. The Czech Info Center makes one leave a message there on site. It does not provide a direct email to Mr. Houdek. I have no idea how you would directly reach the researcher. Elaine Laughter is the closest distance between two people. --Victor Borge Hello Norman On Monday, September 22, 2003, you wrote > I have an image....who do I send it to? > Czech Info Center wrote: >> Published on: Sun Sep 21 23:55:00 EDT 2003 >> >> Posted by: Bill Houdek >> --------- >> Looking for data on Wenzel Houdek who came to USA about 1865 with wife Mary. >> --------- >> For more information, please, visit this Bulletin >> Board posting published in category Find An Ancestor >> at >> CZECH INFO CENTER >> http://www.muselik.com/ >> Internet Premier Czech Information Resource

    3. If Mr. Houdek is on list, please note that it appears that only two pages of postings are retained at the site, and that there is nothing in these publicly posted messages that enables the reader to reach you. I really do not think many people are going to go to the website to assist you, a tragic fact, but I suspect a fact. If you have a way of reaching the webmaster of the Muselik site, you might mention that providing your email address in the distributed message might result in some help.
