I attended our Region Priesthood meeting yesterday where Apostle Richard G Scott was the presiding priesthood holder. A question and answer session was opened toward the end of the meeting. A member posed the question to Elder Scott concerning the duplication of ordinance work with the updated editions of the IGI not coming but about every two years. Elder Scott said the brethern specicially President Hinckley were aware of this concern and the first phases of a plan to have the temples 'online' (my verbage here) with Salt Lake so as names are checked in (my term again) at your local temple a check will be done with up to date data check to see if it was done yet.
