Peg, I have been looking for the hawaiin haystacks recepie...thank you. MMM brownies too my hubbies favorite. I like to try new things. The reason I have grown to dislike cooking is my family is SO hard to please. My daughter who is 9 will eat no meat...it is about all my 7 year old son will eat and all it takes is for one is them to go ewe gross and then none of my 5 eat it. They are wonderful kids. I love then dearly. This is really the hardest part of being a Mom for me right now. Making something my whole family will like. I feel like such a failure when they say ewe gross. My DH AWAYS thanks me for dinner and the kids atleast have learned that. Every night I alway hear thanks for dinner Mom =) right before the ewe gross =) Thanks for sharing Love Cora P.S. Do any of you sister have any good ideas for kids who are picky eaters??? When you have 5 picky eaters there is never a meal that pleases everyone. This frusterates me SO much. My dh says eat or go hungry and they cry and I feel bad. What do I do?? They really are not spoiled brats or anything it is just hard to please them all at the same time.
