This might sound strange to you all, but its my happiest memory. When I was in college I was not a member of the church yet. At that time I was engaged to a wonderful man named Rob Bardsley. Eventually he started having some problems and I left him. I felt it was more important to be with a man that was well built and good looking and to be a free spirit then it was important to be there for him. Several years later we resumed our friendship, but by then he was dating a woman in the church. I had just joined the church. He eventually joined the church and married this woman last year in the DC Temple. In that time frame I had become inactive and had married another man. It was only last summer that I found my way back to church. (I know its a long way around but I finally got back to my memory) My happiest memory is of last December when my children (then 1 and 3) received their naming and blessing ceremony and Rob was the one that gave it to them. It was such an example that although we can not change the past. sometimes the plan the Lord for us is just a little differethan what we thought it was. Its an example of friendship persevering over adversity and such a fine example of what new beginnings are all about. Sonya
