There is an excellent book suggested by the Church, "Teaching Your Child About Sex". It says you should begin "sex education" as soon as little children start noticing their genitals--a comment like, "that's what makes you a little boy (or girl)"... treating it as an ordinary, everyday thing. As my son got older and brought his girlfriend home to watch TV, sometimes I would catch them with the lights out necking. I just flip on the light and say, "that's your chastity light--and don't you forget it!" -- I used many of the suggestions in the book, also. Thankfully, when he got older he was "Temple Ready."
