I was fortunate enough to be able to be in Columbus, OH when President Hinckley annouced the building of a temple there. When he asked if we needed a temple in Columbus, the crowd (in mild shock) answered, "Yes." rather quietly. Then he asked if we wanted a temple and the crowd answered louder. Finally he asked if we were worthy of a temple in Columbus. By then the crowd was so worked up that they answered as if one voice, "YES!!!!!!!!!" It was the most memorable time of my whole life (except for my temple marriage and having my young son sealed to us.) It's no wonder that my favorite song is "We Thank Thee O God for a Prophet." Karen
