I am a decendant of Joseph Hopper. Joseph was born around 1802 somewhere in North Carolina but eventually he married Sarah? born around 1822. And they settled in Hardin County, Tenn. and Census records in 1850 and 1860 list a number of children. !850 listed children as David, Nancy, Christopher (my great great grandpa) , William, Winfield,Zachariah, Elizabeth, and Monroe Blanton. 1860 Census list William, Zahariah, Winfield, Melinda, Amanda, Emaline, and Millard F. I also found possible cousins, aunts and uncles. Some of the names were Tillman Hopper, an illegible named Hopper married to a woman named Tennessee Hopper. My great grandpa (christophers son) was Joseph Henry Hopper, his son my grandpa was Jodis Chessie Hopper, My dad is Jodis Chessie Hopper Jr. Any help would be appreciated. thanks Vicki Hopper Redding [email protected]
