I have a travelpass for a Christoph Wilhem Herbst and his wife to travel by way of Bremen to emigrate to America. He was a resident of Vacha, a Lohgerber(Tanner). 40 years old, 5"4, blonde hair, two burn scars on right hand. Released from servitude to the Grand Duchy--Dermbach, Aug. 4, 1865. This was kept by our great grandparents Klaffky/Lohn and passed down. We do not know the connection to our family. Is there a Herbst out there who might be looking for this piece to their puzzle?
