Sandy - You need to determine what TOWNSHIP Choconut Center is/was in. The pre-1880 censuses were arranged by townships, "usually" in alphabetical order. Beginning with the 1880, they switched to Enumeration Districts (and since this was a Federal operation, the EDs do not carry over to the next census!) The FHLC does have a township atlas on microfiche, FHLC 6049121. This has "maps" of counties (arranged alphabetically with in the state) with the township lines and names added. You would need to use it in conjunction with a map that shows where the town is, because the "maps" on the atlas are just 'outlines' of the counties. Pat B, Virginia Beach VA FHC
