hello I hope this goes to the right place. I joined this New York list a few hours ago and got some welcome messages etc but the text of these messages is just strings of question marks, crosses and occasional numerals. Without the readable messages I can't contact the list owner direct. Is the list owner reading this? Can I have the correct messages please? Oh I daresay I'll get the gist of what's going on on the list but I'd like the proper story. I am getting the other messages okay. Polly Hamilton
