    3. This address is in 20th Ward. For future reference, look at the "Street & Avenue Directory" appendix in the Trow's Directory to get the cross streets on either side of your address - in this case, 7th and 8th Avenues. Some, but not all, microfilmings of the Trow's Directories include the Manhattan street map which shows the Wards. These were fold-out maps published in each copy of the directory, but some obviously got ripped out and were lost over the years.
