I have just received a copy of a letter written in 1888 from Francis HELM of 4 Spring St, Oneonta, New York to his brother Charles in Sydney Australia, and have some questions that I hope someone can answer for me, please. Is Oneonta a suburb of New York city or a town/city in New York state? Francis's wife was Rose B HELM nee POND, Rose is reported to have died abt 1935 in Oneonta.
