    3. Hi Rooters, This book is another from the Memorial On-Line Library I have set up to my parents memory. Dad died many years ago and mother has Alzheimers so she is effectually been gone for many years. The book was printed in 1891 and has 871 pages, I am proofing pages 675 to 700 right now, hope to have the book complete by the end of the month so I can start another of these historical biographies. I have posted this to some of the lists as it is still a work in progress, but have now added another 350 pages and I think have added what may well be a great addition to the site. My thanks to Denise Fredericks who does the Washtenaw County MI site who gave me this lead. I have added a search engine to the LivgenMI site and if say you are researching in N.Y. and have a guess that your families may have passed through Michigan, there are 161 hits....if I typed in New York, I came up with an additional 128 hits....so please do not assume that because this is a Michigan book that your NY people may not be there. I have seen hundreds of references to New York, and about 20 other states, and just about every county in the state of Michigan. While you are at it, I have two small favors I'd like to ask, <g> while doing this a friend in CA is helping a friend of hers and when she saw the link to MI, she gave up because I was the only person seh knew here, as it happened I sent her a link to one of the bios from this book and it was indeed the family she was looking for, so we got her back to Oswego NY about 1830? Name is TONCRAY, and wonder if anyone has any connections to this family that eventually got to Nebraska. Also as you know this site is large and complex, and I would very much like to find some sort of award for the wonderful couple from ISMI who host both of the main sites I do, but.....that being said I would rather make more pages for you guys to use in research than surf, so IF any of you know of such a place to enter them to receive that just honor, I would appreciate the link. I mean they even came in over the weekend late Saturday night when I filled up the server with more data, and so they could make mor space for more genealogical stuff. http://www.LivGenMI.com Home of the 1895 atlas http://www.ChaseNEgw.com Home of the 1891 Shippers Dispatch Gazatteer If you use any of the above or any of the hundreds of bits of information I have put on the net for you.....Your Obligation is to complete your "Hug Homework"!
