Hello Listers, I know this is a "shot in the dark" but thought I would try anyway, since I seem to have a lot of problems getting information from NY. My g.aunt Catherine BENCE, married Richard TREMBLEY, in Pittsfield, MA on June 25, 1879. At the time of her parents deaths !887 & 1900, she gave her residence (distribution papers) as Sand Lake, NY. In 1926, on the occasion of her youngest brother, John BENCE's (my grandfather) death, her residence is listed as Pittsfield, MA (again). In the family plot in Pittsfield Cemetery I find Willie Trembley-----no further information on him at this time. If anyone can connect with this family, I would love to share information.
