I am fairly new to this list. My name is Ann Terrill and I am looking for information on the family of George Washington KAYLOR, born in 1783, probably in New York. He married a Mary PRINGLE or BRENDLE in 1804 in New York City at Trinity Lutheran Church. His children were: Born Died Spouse George 1805 1811 William 1806 1855 in Brooklyn Phillip 1808 James 1810 1850 George 1812 Henry 1814 1814 Mary 1818 1849 Manley SMITH Henry 1819 1834 John Clinton 1821 1864 Mary MCBRYDE Warren 1823 1884 Margaretta BETTS Daniel 1825 1898 Sarah MCBRYDE Elizabeth 1827 Joseph PALMER Anthony 1829 I have been unable to find anything earlier than the marriage of George Washington KAYLOR in 1804. Family "history" has it that the family originally came over with Peter STUYVESANT which might indicate a Dutch backgkround. I would appreciate any and all help or suggestions. Thank you.
