Hi, I am new to this list, just joined this a.m. My name is Boyd J. Linhart (I go by Jim) and I am researching the LINHART surname. I am seeking contact with anyone also doing research on the Linhart Surname. I am descended from a Christian Linhart Sr. b. 1722 in Germany, d. 13 April 1810 in Wilkins Township, Allegheny County, Pa. He arrived in the U.S. in the mid 1700's. It is believed that some of his descendants may have moved to N.Y. (I have nothing to prove this, just a speculation on my part - in other words I am grabing at straws.).
