A great aunt was a very accomplished seamstress in NYC from abt 1875 - 1895. Can anyone point me in the right direction to locate info on her? She was not listed in city directories. Would there be directories for the garment district area or for some sort of guild? Any suggestions will be most appreciated.....Her name was Wilhilminia "Minnie" Hacht. About 1896 she married Robert Schalkenbach. He died a millionaire several times over in 1924. Thanks in advance......... Patti Lakeville, MI
