I have just narrowed the death dates of my g grandparents, in Ithaca, Tompkins County, to one or two years, 1876 and 1892. However, the County Department of Health does not have records before 1914, so I will need to try Albany. Have anybody used a local Albany researcher to obtain records, to avoid the six to eight month wait? Carl Hommel hommel@sundial.net
