Can I ask a stupid question here? Why am I receiving the exact same posts on two lists? Or all three or four? (Brooklyn, Queens, NYC and NYS) Is this the intention of the sender or is there some link that re-posts from one list to another automatically that I am unaware of? In any event, it's getting a bit out of control. I suggest that if it is a "sender" oriented situation, that you post to one list first and if you don't get a response, THEN post to the other list. Many of us are on the Brooklyn and NYC lists, not to mention the NYS and Queens lists. And, yes, I know how to use my "delete" key. That's not the point. The point is "patience." And that means more than 24 hours. Give one list the chance to answer. Exhibit a little bit of patience if you want a decent and correct answer. Don't flood us on all lists. Most of us who've been around here for awhile are more than willing to help. But, when I see three and four copies of the same post, THEN I usually WILL DELETE. All of them. This is sheer self defense. So, please, be patient and considerate and post to the appropriate list first and then widen your inquiry if you have to. The answer may be that people aren't ignoring you, but no one knows the answer! If we don't, and you do the research, we'd all love to know the answer... If this is somehow a list-to-list re-post issue, to each of the list owners: is there someway to (by comparing subscriptions) block multiple list subscribers from duplicates/triplicates, etc. posts? I highly doubt this is the cause/situation, but I'm keeping an open mind here... I thank you in advance for your consideration. Best regards. Nancy.
