I was recently informed of an emigration center known as Castle Garden in New York. Can anyone suggest a website where I might find information on this center? I am trying to locate the port of entry for my ancestors and was told that Ellis Island was inoperable at the time of their emigration (1882). Thank you... Linda Emerson
