Hi I am looking for the Parents of John Royce: JOHN ROYCE was born 1808 in NY, and died May 28, 1873 in Pierrepont, NY. He married SUSANNA FOOTE, daughter of JOHNSON FOOTE and CYNTHIA SHERMAN. Johnson & Cynthia were from the West Charlotte Vermont area, at least for a time, as they are both buried there. Susanna was born February 04, 1809 in Vermont, and died November 12, 1875 in Pierrepont, NY. Both are buried in the Martin Ridge Cemetery. Children of JOHN ROYCE and SUSANNA FOOTE are: i.SHERMAN JOHN ROYCE, b. April 07, 1833, Gouverneur, NY; d. July 18, 1918, Russell, NY. who married Marcia Crary. ii.ARDELIA A. ROYCE, b. August 28, 1834, Pierrepont, N.Y.; d. November 06, 1904, Pierrepont, N.Y. who married Lionell Morrill. iii. CALISTA M. ROYCE, b. 1838, Pierrepont, N.Y. (Town of Potsdam); d. July 20, 1907. who married Ira Miles. iv. CORNELIA (NETTIE) ROYCE, b. 1840, New York; d. 1911, Hannawa Falls, New York. who married William Parmeter. I have much info from John down, but, am not able to connect him to any other Royce family. ANY help would be appreciated.
