Hi, Between 1815 and 1856 somewhere near Ticonderoga there was a Vineyard Farm, 200 acre tract of land in the Vineyard. . The Builder and owner was William and Hannah (Clough) Sweet and later Charles and Aura (Thompson) Flint along with Hannah (Sweet) Thompson. It was the first squared log house in town. When this house was built, the old log barn across the road had already been built for some time, and many think it was one of General Burgoyne's outposts. The old house was occupied by several generations until destroyed by fire in 1927 Can anyone tell me anything about this structure? Pinpoint the location and well anything at all. Thanks, Jerry
