Hi Everyone, I have what might seem like a dumb question to some. I have found that my 3rd great grandfather and family were members of the Methodist Episcopal Church. I would like to see if there are church records concerning the ancestor and his family. Some of his children left the area where he was living and I have not been able to trace where they went. I am in hopes maybe church records might help me. My question is, is there a difference between the Methodist Church, the Episcopal Church and the Methodist Episcopal Church?
