How does one find out what questions were asked on each individual census? The questions do vary from one census to another, and I'm particularly interested in those asked in 1840, and specifically -- if the question about Household members was, "How many persons living in this household -- January 1 of the current year?" I'm trying to pinpoint sticky confusion on a date of death. Thanks for any help! Jan
