Richard, I can't verify, but am related if you prove the line. John's father was Daniel CHASE s/o Phineas and I descend from another s/o Phineas, Seth CHASE 1722-1810 of Quaker Hill and later of White Creek, Washington co., NY., and died in Peru, Clinton Co., NY. Most of this information is in previously published CHASE genealogies but the ones I have looked at do not bring the children of John down to date. You probably have the 1900 census info on Milton, if not let me know and I can give it to you. There is a very good MOSHER genealogy that would likely help on that part. what other sources have you checked? I have done a lot of primary research on the descendants of Seth CHASE and would be willing to help you with your line any way that I can. My mom was a CHASE. Best regards.
