Hi I am looking for information on Benjamin F Butler born in NY abt. 1811 He had 2 brothers, Joseph and Jeremiah and a sister Margaret. They headed to West Virgina around 1822, with there parents. I am trying to find out who there parents were. Some state it was Joseph and Margaret but another record, list the father as Benjamin. Some believe that the son Joseph who married a Margaret was mistaken for the father. Can anyone tell me where I might look for this information? I am clueless when it come to NY Thank you Peggy
