I can see where you are coming from. If one is acquainted with *past* practices with respect to minority groups perhaps in searching one's ancestors it could help in understanding certain issues affecting one's family or its relationships in a particular community. With respect to current minority issues it seems to this writer such matters would best be discussed privately off list. It, IMO, is not a place to either promote nor put down minority practices.
