Hello, After being sick most of the winter,I have just returned to the list. In the event there are now new subscribers I would like to post my PEASTER family again. My ggrandmother was Amanda Malvina PEASTER, b. April 1831 in Nassau, Renssalaer Co. NY. She and her sister Sarah married brothers, James Harvey and Hiram SMITH. They lived in Hancock, Berkshire Co. New York. Wadhams Genealogy, pub. 1913 gives the name as DePeyster, however I question that because the author gave no source for her information. A bio of James Harvey SMITH, says that Amanda's father was John PEASTER, and HIS father was Isaac PIESTER. Any suggestions or clues would be very much appreciated. Thank You, Margaret in NV
