His name was Andrew Cannon, Born in 1785 in Ireland, married to Catherine ???, also born in Ireland in 1782, They lived in the county of Eastchester on a farm, until their deaths in 1854 and 1855. They are now buried in the cemetary of St. Paul's Church in Mount Vernon along with six of their children. One of the sons, James, b 1805, d,1856 is the father of John, b.1847 who moved with his mother, Rhoda Barton Cannon, b. 1810. to Newark, NJ. He eventually married and had 2 children, one of whom was my grandfather, we called his sister Aunt Belle, but I don't know her married name, and as far as I know she lived and died in Long Branch, NJ. The rest of us all wound up in Atlantic City, NJ. Suggestions sincerely appreciated.
