He taught Gaelic in NYC. their children are: (1) Anna Marie Higgins b.2/17/1896 in Manhattan,NYC d. 4/11/1971 in Ithaca,Tompkins Co., NY. she married Benjamin P Parker on 11/2/1921 in St. Patricks RC Church, Queens, NYC. (2) Martin Higgins. born and died in NYC. He married Anna Grace. last name unknown.
