Sally Chirlin(Cuz) is suppose to send me bunch of info photo copied from scrapbook at Historical Society in Norwich. But that aside. What really caught my attention was the Kanouse/Kanous surname. You see one of my dearest and best friends when I was growing up in Flint, Mich. was Nathan Kanous. It's sad but he passed away in the 1980's in his mid 50's. Nathan was one fine person. I had trouble trying to locate him or his children because I was spelling the name Kanaus. That's what age does for you. I have his sons Email if your interested and that is another story in it's self. He is a Pharmacist in Minn? It would please me to no end if Nathan turned out to be my kin.
