Kathy and others: The Allen County Library at Ft. Wayne, Ind. most likely has this magazine, as well as most periodicals of this order. This is an unbelievable library. You can either order what you need from Ft. Wayne (at least one used to be able to do this) or use your subscription to Ancestry.com (don't know how that works). Best to go here to find out more: http://www.acpl.lib.in.us/genealogy/persi.html Or use your www.google.com Good luck. Shirley Farone A giant website concerning Jefferson County, N. Y. I agree. One of the best in the country! I was there two weeks ago. I never pass through that area without spending at least a half day there. As for ACPL loaning periodicals or doing lookups...you'll have to ask them, as I don't know their policy. Considering how busy they are and that they may not have copies of periodicals...I wonder whether they'd loan them. ACPL is one of those "hidden resources", like the American Antiquarian Society, 185 Salisbury Street, Worcester, Massachusetts, which doesn't go in for periodicals, but claims to have 95% of the family genealogies ever published in this country. I tested AAS, by asking for the Alfred Martin genealogy of 1912 and the Samuel Denison genealogy of 1884, knowing that both were thin, small genealogies published just for family. They brought me ORIGINAL copies of both. Now I believe their claim. They've also expanded recently, and might not even be open to the public yet because of the expansion. I'm not sure about that. If you want to look for things not found elsewhere, try ACPL and AAS. They're great! Marty Irons PS: Thanks to author/lecturor Ron Bremer, who first clued me in that these great resources existed.
