Hello. I am looking for DAVIDSON Possibly in Delaware County. Little to go on I am sorry. Elizabeth DAVIDSON born @ 1790 married Nathan WIGHTMAN( various spellings) Their children were born in Delaware County but the information I have does not say where. I have found Elizabeth and Nathan on a 1850 Philadelphia census. Nathan was born in New London Ct But the census information shows Elizabeth born in NY or NJ. The writing was quite difficult to read. I am going with New York since the majority of their children were born in Ny Delaware Co and the Youngest (my line) was born in Phila in 1820/21. They were found under the Surname of WRIGHTMAN. SO thespelling could be different. I have found the surname of this line under Wightman -Wrightman -Witman Weightman- Whitman, etc. Not uniform at all. So I am thinking maybe if I could find Davidsons in or close to Delaware co it is at least a place to look. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks Kassie Oregon
