Seeking information on the following: William Hutchings, born 31 May 1803 in Ulster Co., Calif., died 23 May 1863, buried in Virgil Rural Cemetery, Cortland Co., NY. His wife, Sabra Atwell was born 27 Jan 1804 in Sullivan Co., Calif. and died 20 May 1875, and is buried in Virgil Rural Cemetery, Cortland Co., NY. Have no information on their parents ----- does anyone?? they had the following children: (1)John Hutchings born 1834 (no other information) (2)Rufus Hutchings born 1836 (no other information) (3)Westley Hutchings, born 1837 died 24 Dec 1898, buried Virgil Rural Cemetery, Cortland Co., NY. He married Sarah A Givens. She was born in 1837 and died 9 Apr 1877 and is buried in Virgil Rural Cemetery, Cortland Co., NY (does anyone know who her parents were? Or where she was born?) (4)Charles Hutchings was born 1840 (don't know when or where he died, or where he is buried) He married Mary E. Watrous, daughter of Edwin Watrous and Dolly Richardson. Edwin was born in probably 1808 in possibly Madison Co., CA. Other children of Edwin and Dolly are: E. Morrill Watrous.......(no other information known about him) and Morris Edwin Watrous born 11 May 1839 in Nelson, NY and died 7 Dec 1915, buried in Cortland Rural Cemetery, Cortland Co., NY. He married (5)Emily Jane Hutchings. She was born 28 Feb. 1844 and died 17 Feb 1934 in the Town of Virgil, Cortland Co., NY and is buried in Cortland Rural Cemetery, Cortland Co., NY. (Emily Jane is the daughter of Wm. Hutchings and Sabra Atwell.) This family is VERY confusing.........any help at all will be most appreciated.............
