I am happy to say the 3rd ward is now online on the Troy section of my website. It includes 2,130 individuals with 378 dwellings and families. Thanks go to the transcribers who did all the work: Kay Brearton, Marie McConky, Terry Bora, Lynn Grice, Sharon King, Bob McConihe, Gary Craver, Gloria Furry and Pam Treadeau. This ward was in terrible condition with much ink smears, plus the enumerator could not spell many first or last names correctly. His abreviations for place of birth were also hard to decipher. Bottom line you will find many ?? and many crazily spelled first and last names. So if you think your ancestor should be in this ward, be creative with spelling. This is basically an index and should never be used as a source document.
